I got accepted into Penn(yesterday) and Michigan(two days ago). I am having a hard time deciding which dental school I have to go...
I love both schools.
I got merried and have one baby. so...if I consider my situation, michigan would be better for my family than penn. However, I was very impressed by everything at penn. I don't want to discard a good chance to study in Ivy league school.
I want to be a general dentist.
which one will be the better choice for me?

Congratulations on your acceptances. Ultimately this is a decision that you have to make for yourself. I did not apply to Michigan so I don’t know what the school is like. Penn seemed really nice. If you feel that you would be happy at either school go to the place that is best for your family. Dental school will be stressful enough there is no reason to add to it.

Go where you think you'll get the best education, which will ultimately be best for your family. I loved Penn and if I would've been accepted I would have went there in a heart beat.

I did not still decide where I have go...
I called lots of dentists, professers and friends I know..
The answer is just 50:50...Everybody told me...both schools are really good.
Anyway...I had an interview on Jan 13th(Penn) and Jan 27 (Michigan)
Appreciate any information~!

Congratulations on your acceptances and best of luck which ever you choose. By the way, did you call Michigan to know that you go in or did you recieve a letter in the mail?

I have received acceptance letters Tuesday(Feb 21) from Penn and today(Feb 22) from michigan.

I was accepted to both schools.I had to struggle between the 2, but I decided to accept penn's offer in the end.
Both schools seem to care about their students a lot, and this sense of care is reflected in their curriculum emphasis, faculty availability, and students well-being.
good luck making your decision, u wont regret it no matter where you end up. they are both wonderful!

i too had to decide b/w the two, in the end I chose penn. you really have to go with your gut. try to think about where you may be more disappointed in that you didnt go. i know its tough tho. Everything else aside, focus on your happiness. 🙂 both are pretty same same in price (penn's prolly slightly higher) both will give you a great education, opportunity. In the end whatever decision you chose is the right one for u. congrats!!

whether or not you like the idea of IMS is the question... as it will basically be your life for the first year and a half if you go to michigan since that is how all the basic sciences here are done.
