Penn PM&R Residency Expansion Opportunity for July 2008!

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the University of Pennsylvania is expanding its residency program and seeking four highly qualified candidates for the position of PGY 2 Resident for academic year 2008-2009. The successful candidate will join our current residency program with expectations to graduate in 2011. These positions will be filled outside of the match program and candidates are required to have completed an accredited internship program prior to joining our department.

The University of Pennsylvania Health System in partnership with Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network created Good Shepherd Penn Partners (GSPP). The joint venture expects to open a new, free-standing, 58-bed acute rehabilitation hospital in the heart of Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine will feature separate units for Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, TBI, Amputee, and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation as well as outpatient facilities, including a Physiatric Spine Center.

This unique opportunity to join a world class medical center will not last long. Interested candidates should submit a curriculum vitae and letter of interest to:
