Asking for a friend who is lucky enough to get into both. He said money is not an issue. Thanks for your help!

I am making the same decision - OOS Penn and Carolina, not necessarily factoring in debt. Does anyone have anymore input?

I was only interviewed by UNC(didn't apply to penn). Man, that was a really nice school. I'm not one to care about prestige either. UNC was really nice and the environment was beautiful and the state is awesome. The pre-clinic was sparkling.

I'd pick UNC for the location but seriously, "money isn't an issue". Of course it's an issue. I don't know what the cost difference between the two are but even if your last name is Gates, its just financially stupid to spend $100,000 more or whatever when you don't have to.

The person might be doing HPSP or has a scholarship of some other kind. Or GI bill.

Also, OP's friend should have an idea of where he/she would like to attend by now after interviewing at both schools... If money is not an issue, I would pick location over anything else.
