Group_theory - who has never seen a t-shirt, sweatshirt, pants, windbreaker, shorts, scrubs, license plate, teddy bear etc. with the letters "UPENN" (undergrad or otherwise)

We, meaning everyone I have ever talked to, have always referred to U. Pennsylvania as "UPenn" and sometimes Penn State as "Penn".
I guess both could be called Penn, but U. Penn. undergrad is definitely UPenn.

Dodohead said:I'm from PA....typically, its a lot of out-of-staters who refer to PennState as Penn. I go to Penn (UPenn?) and i know I've had to explain to people who aren't from the east coast that Penn isn't the same as Penn State.

Please note that the above response is one of the few that is actually from a Penn grad.divinemsm said:" PENN " all the way 🙂
