I was fortunate enough to be accepted to both Penn Med and Feinberg this month, and plan on pursuing an MD/MBA. Unfortunately, the admissions people I have spoken to seem to know very little about these programs. Anybody know any specifics about these two programs other than what's on their websites? I am most interested in which one is more robust, established, and eager to have med students. Both look very similar (health tracks, 5yrs, apply in first few yrs in med school) from the websites.

IMO, in terms of individual rep, Penn/Wharton > Feinberg/Kellogg, but location wise Chicago>Philly.

I plan on talking to some actual people in these programs before I make a decision, but curious if anyone here has an opinion.

Thanks!

I am providing links to the MD/MBA site for each respective schools. If you have additional questions, call the numbers that you see listed on those pages. Those individuals actually are the ones with the information on the MD/MBA track.

Congratulations, Penn and Northwestern. Both are on my list of schools, but I will personally choose Penn for two reasons.
1. I like Philadephia. Maybe it's growing up in NYC and just having a big city life, but Penn does it more for me than Northwestern. I'm not saying that Chicago is not a great city (it is, and this would be a harder choice if you said Pritzker) but I hear Northwestern is a little isolated.
2. Wharton over Kellogg. There is not a real reason for this...but I would choose Wharton over Kellogg with all externalities held constant, but that's just me.
