As far as I know, 3 out of 3 of their PGY2 residents left the program after their PGY2 years. One guy ended up at the West LA VA program. One guy ended up with us at UC Irvine.
i don't blame them. i interviewed there and it was depressing. i wanted to leave before it was over and one resident in particular told me that he hated it.
Programs like that are better off just being shut down, and letting someone else have the funding. They must be doing something pretty bad for so many people to keep leaving. I see no reason to apply to a place like that, even as a backup.
