i'm interested to know too! I'm looking to buy before Xmas - probably between HP 1950 and palm TX, though I'm also considering dell's pda with the vga screen.

Prime consideration : must play nicely with OS X and iCal

I know Missing Sync does a great job sync'ing iCal, Address Book, and Task data to a Windows Mobile device. I'm just unsure how well it works for ePocrates and PEPID. The girl I know who has a Mac and Windows Mobile isn't in medicine. Maybe I could convince her to install ePocrates (the free version).

hi southerndoc, this pda will be my first so sorry if my question is off the mark-

do you get updates for the pda version of epocrates (i use the online version of epocrates with my ibook at the moment) that sync automatically? is that what you are talking about with your win mobile/mac question?

thanks.

i use missing sync with my mac, and it works great. the only caveat i have to say is to do your research before you buy a pda. some programs do not support specific pdas for macs. for instance, epocrates only supports palm, handspring, sony, kyocera smart phones, samsung i500, and samsung i300. my current expansion card is not compatible with my mac. also, for epocrates, you need at least 10.6MB of free internal memory to download (only for mac users because PCs can use a memory card). i hope that helps!!
