So here is my dilemma,

I had plan on retaking my DAT on June 1st, I enrolled in a masters program that starts June 13th. But my practice scores aren't looking to good. I'm ranging between 18-19 on DAT Genius. Only section I am doing well is PAT 20+ My weakest section is Biology and QR, suggestions?

I wanted to retake my DAT before I start my masters and be able to send my application. My masters starts pretty heavy on the science classes so I don't think its doable while I'm in it. What do you think I should do? I can push back my exam date in December (I get a month off) even tho I probably won't apply but I would have a solid biology foundation to help with the DAT that I am clearly struggling with.

Don't know what to do. People who did masters, did you take your DAT before or after the program?

Did you think it helped?
My Masters degree was unrelated to anything that was on the DAT. So I don't think it made a difference either way. I guess the only benefit that I may have gotten was a slightly above average RC score because I was so used to reading research.

Took mine before but I'm doing an SMP and they required a DAT score

I took it before and got an 18 on TS and took it after and my TS score was a 20. My grad program improved my study skills significantly and helped immensely with the bio portion of the DAT.

thank you, I have decided to take it during winter break, giving me 2 semesters (summer & fall) of bio classes. I believe I need to improve on my study skills and biology background so hopefully my masters will help!
