The happiest moment thread got me thinking about this. Maybe it will be the same for some of you.
If you could choose, or had to choose, 1 perfect day to live over and over again, what would it be?
Basically, you're going to be stuck in a time loop, but get to choose where/when, but won't know while its happening, so you won't get sick of it.
For me- and I'm not sure this was all the same day, but it's how I remember it. Christmas when I was maybe 11. I saw everyone last person in my family that day.
I was still young enough to be excited when I woke up, my mom and dad were getting along, we were all really happy. My mom made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and I played with my brothers and sisters all morning.
We went to my mom's parents after, and all of my cousins, even the ones usually kept away due to custody things were there, so we all played. I got the Harry Potter books for Christmas. Sitting on my grandfathers lap in his glider/rocker even though I was too big.
Seeing my grandmother so happy with everyone being together and so happy themselves.
Going to my dad's great-aunt's. She had homemade baklava and coffee out. Playing and wrestling with all of those cousins, and sitting with grandparents at the "adult" table.
There was an overwhelming feeling of contentment and happiness. Having everyone together. It feel it more acutely now remembering it...so many people still alive, so many people I rarely saw, all together.
It was really a perfect day, and I'd live that over and over to see everyone again.
