I'm just checking to make sure that we don't actually have to release our MCAT scores to the schools to which we apply. Since they show up on AMCAS, so schools need an actually copy of our MCAT scores? Thanks guys!

Your score is automatically released to AMCAS, so no. But you do have to release scores to schools that DON'T participate in AMCAS. That can be done thru the MCAT website.

In this whole crazy application process, nothing is a stupid question. Good luck.

Hopkins required a photocopy of my MCAT score report, although it participates in AMCAS ... I guess to move things along?

You shouldn't have a problem, though. Good luck!

Some schools will want trancripts if you get in, and perhaps MCATs too.

Thanks everyone for answering my question--and for being nice about it! Good luck with all you med school pursuits as well!😀
