Perinatology Peds or OB?

Is perinatology a fellowship just for OB or is it also a peds option?
Also, can someone describe the gist of perinalolgy (scope, a day in the life, etc.)?

Specifically, perinatology means occurring in the period preceding, during, or after birth, but from what I know medical discipline divides this up into before birth and after birth:

1) before birth: the OB fellowship is called Maternal Fetal Medicine (go to www.smfm.org for more info)

2) after birth: the Peds fellowship is neonatology (www.neonatology.org)

Someone, please correct me if this is wrong.
