I feel like I have been asking so many questions today. But thank you everyone who keeps responding to me!! I appreciate it so much!

So on to more questions 😛

For the periodic table given on the actual dat, are we allowed to or can we use the alt tab buttons to go back and forth from the test screen to the periodic table, or do we have to keep clicking exhibit...ughh..why cant they just give us a paper periodic table?!

But my other question. for calculator, on the dat, does the calculator look weird? like can you make the calculator screen bigger and does it jumble up all the keys on it? i was looking at the calculator they showed on the prometric tutorial here
https://www.prometric.com/ClientFiles/ada/DAT/index.htm
and it was so weird!!!

but are you able to just see all the keys in a full screen shot? like the image i attached????

thanks !🙂

You cant use the keyboard for anything, it's all mouse only. I pushed my keyboard aside to give me more desk space.

Not sure why that calculator looks like that in the tutorial you posted, but I had a normal windows calculator and mine didn't lag at all; but i know some people have complained about lagging...just depends on your center I guess.

You can move the periodic table to the right hand of your screen when you open it so that you can see the question at the same time.
The calculator looks almost like the calculator that's on the windows PC. What i did to get used to using the calculator is when I took Topscore I opened up the calculator that the computer has and used that during my test. Its basically the same thing and lets you get used to typing stuff using your mouse.

dose the calculator on the DAT have the sqrt button? Chad's videos says that he doesnt know if they will give it or not 😕

I think mine did.

Mine was a bit laggy too. You had to wait half a second between clicking on each digit, or stuff wouldn't register properly. Also, for decimals <1, I had to put 0 before the decimal point, or the decimal point wouldn't register. For example, if you want to type 1/3 in decimals, you have to click on 0 . 3 3 3, instead of . 3 3 3.
