Personal Comments on AACOMS??!!

It says on the on-line application that there is a 3000 character limit. Is this solid, or is there some slack??? I have mine on Word and it is 3698 characters w/spaces and 3040 w/o spaces at 650 words. It seems to fit when i paste it, but i dont' want it to crap-out when i submit. Any suggestions would be GREAT!!

I wrote email to AACOMAS about this and their answer is 3000 including spaces, no exception. When I did my application, it let me paste but it would not let me save or send the application. The frustrating thing is, at one point, I had my words and spaces under 3000, and the system still said I am over the limit! I needed to cut it a bit below the limit. Hope that helps.

Same thing happened to me, Flintstone. On word, I had 2996 characters w/spaces and that damn little box came up saying I had too many... What a pain. Glad it's sent off now though!!

my p.s. was 2997 on word, and the system would not let me send it off either. I called aacomas and explained the situation. they let me email it to them, and they pasted it in the app. for me. It was sort of nerve racking though, because I had to make sure they got it done. I called a few times and talked to different people, and had them pull up my app. they said it was in their fine, anyway, hope you have got it figured out. good luck
