How long do these suckers have to be? The UC school system requires them in addition to the statement of purpose and they don't give any suggestions for length/word count. Do I have to write another 1500 word essay?
Generally, no. The yale app gives you the option to include one. I prepared another full length essay for it, tried to submit it and found out there was a word limit of about 150. See if that app is the same before you write another whole essay.
