Hey everyone,

I apologize in advance if this should have gone in the international dentist forum.

I am currently waiting to hear about interviews for this current cycle at 7 different schools here in the United States. Recently my fiancee was just offered her dream job in London, Ontario and although we knew there was a possibility that we would have to spend some time apart with me applying to schools all over the country, I wouldn't mind avoiding that problem over the next 4 years.

I noticed Western University (Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry) has a dental program and I was curious if I was accepted and attended the school could I practice in the United States after graduation (specifically Illinois)? If so, what exactly would I have to do to gain my license in the US? Thanks for any help you could give me.

I may be wrong about this, but licensing tests are usually given during the last year in dental school (I believe that's how it is for Texas at least).
