Personal Statement 2008-2009

I am having trouble with Personal Statement 2008-2009. Everything I tried I can't indent for the first line. It always saves it starting at the first position. Even when I tried manually keying with the first line indented it saves it without the indentation. I deleted the whole essay the I had on pharmcas and tried it again using notepad and manually keying. Its almost as though ther is a character preventing the indentation. Any suggestions would be helpful.

You can't indent on PharmCAS. I just hit the enter key twice after each paragraph to get an extra line between them.
