I'm 4900 and am having a hard time cropping. I'm also starting to freak that my statement may not be all that good.

I started 2 days ago but I had an older draft of when I applied to canadian schools. That old draft took me ~2 weeks. IMHO you can finish a good rough draft in 3-4 days if you spend a lot of time on it

I wrote mine in about 2 days last year. Then just did minor tweaking here and there over the year (nothing too major). Here I am now
