I was thinking that if people wanted to get some advice on their personal statements they could either post them here or we could exchange PMs. I'd be willing to read and offer advice to some people and I hope that it would be reciprocal. Send me a PM (I'd rather not post mine for many reasons...) So if you would like to pitch in/get read, post to this thread and wait for the PMs.

I am intersted in being a part of this. I am willing to share my personal statement if someone else wants to reciprocate. I figure I can use all the advice there is...as long as no one is out to hi-jack personal statements.

Count me in! I like my essay, and think it reflects who I am as a person. I would appreciate other like minded opinions...How do we go about this, and minimize the concern for essay high-jackers?
