I am planning on applying to dental school this upcoming cycle 2024-2025. I am in the works of writing my personal statement and was wondering if it is advised to include being involved in research in the PS. The real question is that I only started this semester so will only have 1 semester of research experience when applying to dental school. That being said is it worth to shortly talk about being involved in research and connecting it to why i am suited for dentistry. Or since it wasn’t published yet it’s not worth it.

I remember I included my research experience very briefly in my PS. But it was like 1-2 sentences. Wasn’t much. I’d focus more on other things unless you can really tie it together.

I was thinking just a few as well. It definitely can’t be too much because i don’t have too much experience
