Many interviews are closed-file, and the interviewers have no knowledge of what is on your application. It's best to put as much pertinent information into your application as possible to increase your chances of getting an interview.

Please don't yell at me. No, I haven't sent it in yet. Here's dumb question #397... On the 7 question Personal Profile sheet for UF, it says "using no more than 150 words". Is that total, or for each question?

Thanks.

Your question is not dumb at all. You should call the school directly for clarification, and mention that the wording on the form is ambiguous.

If I had to guess, it would be per question. 150 words is not a lot. You could always call them on Monday, too.

Side note: I'm going to look for those tapes this weekend for you. 🙂

I think I am going to ASSume 150 per question as it does say use complete sentences and I don't think I could do that in 21 words per question. Then I will call Monday and confirm.

Thanks for the input ladies.

Any suggestions on how to address low GPAs from an undergraduate degree on a personal statement? How did those of you who have low GPAs from previous degrees address this in your essays? I'm stumped 🙁 Thanks!

i think it depends on what you consider low....
i would not address a 3.0 in a personal statement or at all through the essays

Is this for UF?

I repeated alot of things during my interview. It adds a personal touch. To be honest, there isn't much time in the interview to address all of your accomplishments. It is best to make sure that you cover them all in the essay. I don't even think that they write down much what you say during the interview. It is more of an overall impression. I just tried to tell sad stories and make the interviewers cry about my passion for pharmacy. If you make them cry....you are in!
