Personal statement and specificity to program applied to

Hey guys,

I've spoken to some people that are applying this year (we are all IMGs) and some of them were telling me that it is important to tailor you PS to that specific program and/or state.

Given that I am applying to over 100+ programs this would require a pretty big time commitment. Given your experience or from what you've heard how do you suggest I approach this?
