I have a quick question to see if anyone could give me a good answer. I took alot of pre-reqs in a community college because it was part of my chemical engineering program. The engineering program had a partnership with the community college to teach the basics, while the other university taught all engineering courses. Should i mention this in my personal statement? I only took the community college courses as part of my program, and all of the credits transferred to a 4-year accredited school.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Seems like kind of a dry thing to put in there. Seems like something that you should have an answer for at an interview, not in your PS. But that's me.

Doesn't matter. I took many pre-reqs at a CC so that I could keep working as long as possible before having to take classes during the day. I chose my CC for its reputation and articulation agreements...any "real" class (chem, bio, orgo, etc.) was accepted when I applied to Columbia, Cornell, and every state school in NY. Nobody looked down upon it. Don't mention it...if it's a separate transcript, they'll know it already anyway. Nobody cares if you had a great GPA at both schools.
