Hey Everyone!

Has anyone ever used an online service to edit their personal statement? I am in desperate need of some advice. Thank you!

I didn't use an online service but did use some readers on this site which helped immensely and should be more than enough. Here's the thread from last year: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/thr...guide-and-reader-list-2013-2014.982605/page-3 that has been updated somewhat for this year but if you keep your eyes peeled there should be a new official PS readers thread popping up soon. I would go with feedback from users around here before jumping straight to an online service.

I am using the service from http://www.gurufi.com/ and I choose the editor Brian.
I get to know this service from this thread, see below.

Brian is highly helpful. I am working as a research scholar and work at least 50 hours per week in a lab. I cannot focus on writing the assays even for a whole morning or afternoon. When it goes to night, I am too exhausted after the lab work. Under my condition, you definitely need the online editing service.

Would using services like this run the risk of having your essays released to the public domain??

I recommend myself... I have no idea who Brian is, but Caffeinemia is pretty good and has better credentials than Brian too.

Facetiousness aside, I think many of clients have appreciated having a veteran sounding board provide them with guidance and a second opinion.
