Hey everyone. I have finished a rough draft of my personal statement and am wondering if anyone would be willing to give feedback on it. Do ppl still do that on sdn? I'm looking for some feedback from current med school students.

Sure, I got a bunch of help from SDN last year with my PS and I would like to return the favor. Applied this cycle, got a couple acceptances and many of my interviewers commented that they really liked my PS.

We just confirmed Apoptosome is not even pre-med, so don't send your essay to her, lol.

Thank you for the help. Does anyone know when the 2014-2015 official PS guide and reader will be released? Or should I use the most recent list from last years?

You can try shooting PMs to some of the active readers. There are also a few folks who are still volunteering on the side (maybe they'll post and let you know). The new list isn't usually compiled until around mid Feb/March-ish (iirc), but the 14-15 one should be coming out soon if you have no luck with the 13-14 readers 🙂
