On the personal statement portion of the AMCAS application, when indenting at the beginning of new paragraphs, is there any tab-like feature that can be accessed or must I spacebar manually and "waste" my character number allowance? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
BY

Instead of tabbing/indenting, you should just separate each paragraph with an empty line (which only count as 1 character each I believe)......its the most efficient way to separate your paragraphs :horns:

Yes, use a space and no indentation. It wouldn't surprise me though if the empty line counted as two characters (carriage return + line feed). Make sure you check the final print-out of your app before you submit it, I've used mozilla and the character count says something like 5295 but it ended up cutting off my essay by a few characters.
