How exactly should I copy and paste this from a "text" file when I typed it on Microsoft Word already?

Copy from Word, paste into a basic text-editing program (e.g. TextEdit on Mac, Notepad on Windows). Format it to look how you want and make sure there aren't weird characters, then copy from that program and paste into ERAS.
