Personal Statement---- Help Needed

Hi guys i am completely new to this forum and i seriously need help on my personal statement. I have a final draft and i just need someone who has gotten in to medical school to give me any sort of advice on what i need to change. Im really nervous and i really appreciate the help.

I don't know if I would post my personal statement online for the world to see in a personal forum but that's just me.
There seems to be a lot in your statement from your apps. Volunteering in the ER, EMT, etc. The personal statement is a time to shine though by telling the Adcom things that aren't on your application.

to be honest i never thought about the repercussions of posting my PS on a public forum. And i agree with your advice but those experiences have meant so much to me. How do i go about it differently? Can i send you a Private message of a different personal statement that i wrote that i think highlights what you have said?

I'm from Lexington, that's how I knew. 😛 When you fill out your AMCAS you can mark your most meaningful experiences and you can describe it there.
In your personal statement you can discuss things like the wreck and how that shaped you to want to be a physician. Why the initial interest in medicine?

Agree with above: I'd keep your statement confidential and share only wth trusted readers and adivsors. I do have a general advice thread and will answer general questions you have about writing PS.
