General Admissions & OTCAS Personal Statement Length???

I've read that in previous years OTCAS has advised 7500 characters.

Should we stick to that? Or since there is no requirement does it matter? Currently mine is 7900 characters.

I've been told no more than two pages. One to one and a half for best results.

I would look and see what your schools' preferences are and aim at that. Most programs seem to say something similar or don't specify at all. I wouldn't stress out about it. But if you have like.. 4 pages or something, maybe try cutting it down.

Mine ended up being around 900 something. Exactly 2 pages!

the old length used to be around 7600 characters which equaled about a page and a half i think

Last year the limit was 7500 characters (including spaces), but make sure to look on individual school websites to see if they have a preference or more specific instructions
