Personal statement - non traditional

I am struggling to include my unique experiences etc into a solid personal statement. Any idea if consultants are any good? (My GPA in undergrad was 3.1 and I have a 4 in my post-bacc program - however this means that I need a really strong personal statement)

Do you have access to career and further education counselors through your post-bacc? Might be able to get some good help for free.
