Hi Guys,

I'm currently working on my personal statement. I was wondering, does saying I am interesting in more than just the clinical aspect of dentistry (i.e. also want to do research) limit my chances at certain schools? If anyone has any idea, please let me know!

Thanks

No. Keep in mind who will be reading your statement: dentists involved in academics and science professors.

1. First you need an acceptance.
2. You need to attend ds and get a feel for all the options.
3. By the time 4 years roll around, you may well decide to pack your bags and be a professional vacationer in the Bahamas.

Yeah, I'm not certain about the research, which is why I didn't want it limit me to schools only geared towards research
