Hi everyone,
I'm about to submit my application this Wednesday and was wondering, how firm is the "rule" that the personal statement is just one page?
I'm close to one and a half pages, I know thats not much more, but I was wondering if PDs will read the other half page?

Also, I'm not sure what I want to do after PM&R residency? Is it ok just to put that?

Thanks everyone for the help!
🙂

I was just researching this myself. I came across this guideline:

New courier 10 font
Left/Right margins 0.3 inches
Top/Bot margins 0.8 inches
It should be accurate to +/- one line.

Plug in those parameters and you might be closer to one page than you think. But if not, try to trim it back and get it *close* to one page. If your statement is good, I don't think a few extra lines will ruin you.
