Anyone willing to quickly go through my personal statement for grammatical errors/wording/content or any other advice? I contacted a few people on the personal statement readers list, but it looks like most people are done with it for now.

You're looking at 8 weeks before you're verified. Add another couple of weeks to receive and return secondaries. So you're looking at completing applications in the December timeframe. Some schools have application deadlines of December 1 or 15. Unless you're sitting on a really stellar application, I'd save my (parents') money and apply on 1 June 2014.

If you have totally awesome stats and like to gamble, then disregard above.
