Hey guys. I am a re-applicant and I am currently re-vamping my entire Personal Statement. I never really read over anything I write, and if I do, I basically skim through it for grammer and spelling errors. Recently I actually sat down and looked over my personal statement and realized how corny and cheesey it sounded. I am currently rewriting a new personal statement and would like some help from fellow people on this forum that will be able to give me feedback and basically tell me flat out if it is good/bad/needs improvement. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

ill read and inform you within an hour after you send me.

You can send it my way, though I have found myself not responding to personal statements that are gunnerist or insanely cheesy haha. Consider me jaded heh... but if its an interesting read I will help with content.

Just a quick question. With your personal statement do you address the question why DO? Or is attempting to do that in the personal statement not really done?

It's up to you whether you want to talk about why DO. I personally did not talk about DO during my primary application since most schools ask that question for the secondary essays.

Thank you for the help! I think I am going to avoid addressing it till secondaries as well.
