Would anyone be willing to read my personal statement? I've got what I think is a pretty good first draft, but I'm worried about the overall flow and also that the theme might fall into the category of being too cliche.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Postponing this until I have a second draft ready. First one isn't quite where it needs to be!

I will. I'll PM you my email address, just send it over and I should have it back to you by tomorrow sometime.

Crap. I just realized the AACOMAS character limit is 4500 and not 5300 like AMCAS.

I know this is pre-osteo so it may not be the best place to ask, but your opinions have been more helpful than those in the pre-allo forum. Should I spend time adding to my AACOMAS PS or can I submit the same PS to AMCAS?

You can submit the same one. If you reference osteopathic medicine in any way, you should change that. Otherwise, it'll be fine. Most people use the same one for both apps.

Sounds good. I guess it worked out that my most recent draft ended up being ~4200.
