I wrote my personal statement. I did it wrong though. I wrote why i want to be a doctor, what sold medicine to me, but I should have written it on why I should be given the opportunity to become a doctor, and sell myself to medicine. Is this correct?

No. You're fine. As long as it's well written and creative, it should be successful.

I think youre fine too. but id say mix both in...it shouldnt be much work, you could probably adjust a word or two in a couple of sentences and answer the second set of questions too

No, somewhere in there you want to let the adcoms know "why medicine," let them know why you stand out from other applicants, but not look like too much of a freak (i.e. put diary entries in, etc.)
