i've finished a rough draft of my personal statement... but i'm having second thoughts and i kinda want to start over. can anyone give me any advice on whether or not my topic for right now is okay?
my essay is about how ive learned what dentistry really is about after years of experience, beyond the superficial. how i first thought it was all about fixing teeth but now its about much more than that... going into some details about other aspects. then i relate these aspects to myself, and how ive demonstrated some of them (i.e. social, business, creativity, philanthropy, etc), while also giving anecdotes.
im partly afraid that the essay might come off as cocky since im suggesting i know what it takes to REALLY be a dentist... should i worry about this?
does this general approach seem okay? thanks for any help!
