Hello, I have messaged the only person on the forum that is willing to read personal statements and I haven't gotten a reply. Would anyone be willing to review my personal statement for content and let me know the truth. I had a friend edit for grammar but she doesn't know much about the process of applying for medical school so I would like another opinion before I submit my application. Thank you all

No problem! I think I've read about 10 this year so I'm expecting big, cute things from you! You'll have to leave an impact, like my picture of a man playing bassoon in front of a unicorn.

If anyone on this thread wants to trade statements with me I would love the help! I'm mainly looking for someone to advise on what to cut since my PS is way too long at the moment and I'm having a hard time determining what the most compelling parts are. Let me know, thanks!

add: also looking for a fairly quick turn around, I can look at your statement and give you feedback by Saturday evening if you can do the same 🙂
 
I'm hardly qualified but I'd also be happy to read personal statements. I would trade, but I'm mostly submitted already.
 
would love someone to read mine too. im not full of bs but some things on there might smell like it... i would also love to read up on someone else and give feedbacks as well.

reading up on good/bad statements gives you an idea how you are doing on yours.


PS ive heard people talking about others copying ps ideas, thats the most pathetic thing i have ever read. people like that do not deserve to be doing this at all
