How do you indent the paragraphs in the personal statement? I can't get it to work...

i just spaced double spaced between paragraphs so they were easier to read and stood out

For some reason I thought when I submitted mine that the returns don't count on character count. I can't remember if that was the case within Microsoft Word or once i submitted it in the browser.

Might want to give that a try if you're JUST over the character limit.

Plus i think it looks alot better...i'm not a fan of indents for some reason. Especially when the paper is completely formatless.

hitting return counts as 2 characters...trust me. I had to change a couple longer words into simpler ones after cutting and pasting for Microsoft because Microsoft doesn't count hitting return as characters but AADSAS does
