I am finally done!! However, when I go to preview it it looks out of place everywhere. How must I format it? I thought it was just copy and paste?

it says to use a program that does not use "rich formatting". try Wordpad or an email document first before putting it into aadsas.

hmm..that's weird because i typed mine up in microsoft word and it was fine. are you using "vista" b/c that might be the reason why. 😕

I was using a Mac and it did this... I pasted it into Notepad and then pasted it and it all worked great!

yes, thats what I did... Mine was in word and pasted to notepad than copy that to AADSAS essay page. Worked great... Just make sure to see the print preview before submitting your app.

i have a mac too and when i pasted from word to notepad to aadsas then clicked view personal statement, it was still distorted. I even re-typed it in notepad but the same thing happened. so i called aadsas and told the lady and she said they reformat it even if its distorted. i still feel uncomfortable sending it like it is tho.

maybe you can first try copying and pasting your PS into Docs if you have a gmail account . that has pretty simple formatting so that might help.
