I am drafting my Personal Statement and am trying to discuss the qualities that make a good Neurologist and how I possess them. I've been able to highlight approaching patients in a methodical and analytical manner as one of the qualites, but am struggling to find others. What are the other qualities that one looks for in a good Neurologist or aspiring Neurologist? Thanks!

Don't you think that would be kind of boring to read? I think the PD's know what makes a good neurologist. They also know why neuro is such a great field.

Use this opportunity to talk about something interesting; a talent you may have, unique hobby (exception: controversial hobbbies), memorable life event, etc. Something that makes you "you." For example, if you enjoy fixing cars then weave that into a well-written story. If you've had a life changing experience and it shapes who you are today (assuming it's a positive change) then talk about that in your PS. Let your CV, LORs, and interview speak towards your interest in neuro and why you'd make an excellent neurologist!

I'm just tossing out ideas. Let me know what you think.

I would talk about my love for animals.

If I was george bush.. I would talk about my love for diplomacy....

you will figure it out.

If I was lindasy lohan..... I would
