Personal Statement?

If I am applying to anesthesia and prelim/trans programs can I just assign the same personal statement (which is about why I want to go into anesthesia) to all of the programs?

If you like; you don't need to write separate ones for your Prelim/TY year (but that is an option as well) and Anesthesia programs.

Our dean told us to send the same statement. After all (as she mentioned) you don't want a career as a "transitionalist".
