I was just curious as to how long a personal statement should be. I know there is no set length, but what is average?

Ok. Thanks. I didn't realize that you type it into your aadsass as well. I'm about to do the committee letter thing, and I'm pretty sure I include a copy of my personal statement in that. Did anyone who did this use the same personal statement, or did you write a new one to avoid the redundancy of sending the same thing twice?
I'm not really sure what you are asking?? your ps in the committee thing?
Some schools require a PS from you in order to wrte a better commitee letter. This happened to me, and I just used the same one I submitted to AADSAS.
bottom line it is your ONE chance to prove you aren't a statistic. If they are deciding between you and someone else for an interview invite and your stats are the same..... guess what will push them over the edge? Make it unique, but not crazy. Make sure they know who the real you is and what you want. Also if there is something totally out of the ordinary about you.... mention it. For example my wife and I are foster parents, so when I said I want to help people with my money, I put my money where my mouth was. I am probably one of only 3 or 4 applicants out of 12000+ that is a foster parent and THAT is unique. Don't tell them that you have a finger nail collection or that you twitch your eye when you think really hard, kind of unique, find some thing that is good and unique (I hope you saw my humor, I really don't think you have a finger nail collection or an eye twitch).😀I was just curious as to how long a personal statement should be.
