if you had cancer, would you include this in your personal statement? Overall, it's affected me greatly, but I've still managed 3.6 gpa. But I dont want them to think im incapable of of dental school or might stop in the mid of the semester bcoz of a relapse, etc. what do you think?

I mentioned it in my personal statement because it was a major part of my life and also because there was a small gap in my resume when I did not take many classes or participate in may activities, I thought it would be best to explain why. I do not think it will hold you back, especially with a solid gpa.
