What is the exact character limit for the Personal Statement on ASDAS? With or without spaces?
Who should read my personal statement? Especially if I am not in school anymore.

I'm positive Microsoft Word's word count also displays character count, even on the older versions.

Yeah, it should say (without spaces) and then under it, it should list it with spaces.

Is everyone indenting each paragraph in your personal statement? I once read on here that people were having problems copy and pasting it into AADSAS and that it wouldn't allow them to split up the paragraphs or indent... I am in the drafting phase and am over by 500 characters with six paragraphs. Just wondering if I should account for the extra spaces. Thanks.

no, indents don't work on AADSAS. I separated the paragraphs, but when I printed out my app there were no spaces, so I don;t know what gets sent to the adcom.

for those without the character counter, it's about 1 full page w/ 1" margins

Nevermind! I found the thread with the answer. AADSAS does not let you indent, just space between.
