Hey guys,

I am currently working on the 3 essays for the TMDSAS application. I was curious if anyone knew if using a very small amount of dialogue would be okay to do? I wanted to incorporate a brief conversation between my mother and I, to set the stage.

With limited characters, is it worth it to take up space with something like that? It is difficult to know the importance of said dialogue without knowing said dialogue so it is hard to give sound advice.

The dialogue is regarding my parents divorce, I was going to use it in my opening few sentences to try and grab the readers attention.

Does it have any bearing on the application/interest in dentistry?

No. It's for the TMDSAS and the topic is

Optional Essay - Unique Experience Briefly discuss any unique circumstances or life experiences that are relevant to your application which have not previously been presented.

What are you planning to talk about in this essay?

I know it is probably cliche, but it is true for me. I am talking about how my parents divorce made me mature at an early age and overcome obstacles. and thats relevant to my success in schools.

A horse of a different feather.
