Personalized Messages on Columbia Acceptances

I know this is kinda irrelevant but did anyone else who got accepted to Columbia get a handwritten note on the bottom from either Dr. McManus or Dr. Davis? I got from both of them and I thought it was pretty nice....It seems that they have a pretty close-knit bunch over there

i got that too. i wonder if it's a generic note. it went something like "congratulations on this honor reflecting your hard work at X school. welcome to columbia" and "welcome to the columbia family. see you in august." I wonder if they just replace X school with your school...

there were also individual comments about things that we talked about during the interviews, as well as individual comments about our applications

the personalized messages were truly nice. i appreciated them. oh and fyi, the messages were from our conversation, so they are not generic.
i'm absolutely HONORED to have been accepted. it is SUCH a great school. it really is.
