Hello!
I was recently notifed that I was accepted to the University of Delaware's DPT program. When I interviewed I loved some things and disliked others about it. I know its ranked in the top 5 but I don't want to base everything on rank. I wanted to hear what anyone else has to say about the program even general thoughts would be helpful! Does anyone have experience working udel graduates?

Big congratulations! I was notified that I have an interview for UD in two weeks. How is the interview like? I am so scared since the letter saying the interview will last all day long. Is it really hard?

I have an interview scheduled there for January 13 so maybe I'll see you then. The interview is not "all day long." Actually, the day consists of brunch, tours, interviews with current students and faculty, and then a question and answer session. The actual interview itself is less than 30 minutes. They don't have time to talk with every perspective student for an hour.

dptdreamin: how long after the interview did you receive your letter of acceptance?

UD's length was typical for the interview days I've been invited too, most of them seem to be all day experiences.
It was a really nice day. They send you a little outline of the day in the mail at some point; the interviews are only 20 minutes and very informal, but you go to a class and meet all the faculty and students (and they feed you twice). It was so welcoming and honest, and everyone seemed to loved the faculty they interviewed with.
Good luck to both of you!!
