When people recommend this, are they referring to the ~79pg Surgery Review or the ~250pg USMLE Step 2 CK Surgery notes from Kaplan (2008-2009)???

The 250 pg USMLE Step 2 CK Surgery Notes. The 79 page is just notes on the cases in the back of the book. The Kaplan book is written by Pestana, and the last half of the book is cases. Excellent for the surgery shelf.

Thanks. I was just looking for clarification between the two study aids. Appreciate all your help.

Just to clarify, is this a standard disclaimer to not endorse illegal activity or is there a non-ethical/legal reason to get them legally? And where would you get them legally? I've never used any of the Kaplan stuff...

Yes, I have a usual disclaimer not to get or use any pirated materials. Period.

And, did you really ask where you would get the KAPLAN copyrighted materials? I think, well, probably, from Kaplan.

Alternatively, some Kaplan students sell their binder on ebay. Not really sure of the legal nature or this one, either. I didn't really pay attention to the rules of what I can do with the my Kaplan notes now that I'm done (I'm keeping them anyway).

What I meant is does Kaplan sell the notes as an individual unit or is it only part of the full review course?

No. At least I don't think so. I used the full course, so did not investigate
