How do you empty your inbox?

I thought I had deleted enough messages to receive new ones. Apparently, I had to get extreme and wipe out my in-box before I had the "space" to receive more messages.

Was I doing something wrong?

Quite a few. Honestly. I didn't count, but it was easily two dozen. racked up since last year. I deleted the "sent" PMs and most of the PM tracking since I didn't need those records anymore.

I feel bad about re-PMing people who tried responded. On top of that, I can't even remember what I had originally asked. I know they felt urgent to me when I rattled them off. Oh, well.
