Hi all,

Does anyone here know much about the PGSP-Stanford Consortium PsyD program? It does not seem to be covered in the Insider Guide. What is the program's reputation? To what extent is this program actually affiliated with Stanford? What is their acceptance rate? What is their APPIC internship placement rate?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Fran

Do a quick search and you'll get some interesting threads.

My 10 second opinion...it looks promising, but just got APA approval, and costs an arm, leg, and your first born. The faculty looks good, and it seems like it may grow into a solid program, but I think it is a mistake to include it anywhere near the top of the PsyD schools because it doesn't have the same track record as a Rutgers, Baylor, etc. I'm not saying it is bad, but just because it is associated with Stanford, doesn't mean it is automatically great.

I think there are at least 1 or 2 people on here who are attending this year, they can probably provide more hands on info.

Therapist4Chnge,

Would you like to join me in a study to investigate clinical issues facing both the given up first borns and their maimed parents getting degrees at PGSP-Stanford? The longitudinal study should start soon since those first borns are still babies. I only hope that the babies are being kept in the country. And where are all those arms and legs going?
